Gabe and I had another busy weekend. He had a dad-chelor
party on Friday night. I stayed in. On Sat, we got up early and met his cousin
and her boyfriend for breakfast. They were visiting from St. Louis for her work. We ate at
Brenda's, a french soul food place. I had beignets with cinammon apples in the
middle. So good!
Clint and Charlene picked me up from the restaurant to drive
to her baby shower in the East Bay. She's due in 4 weeks! One of Gabe's old
coworkers was there, April, with her 8mo old, Landon. He was so cute!
I got a ride to BART back to SF, walked home, changed, and
then Gabe and I walked back to BART to go to the South Bay and meet our friends
Ben and Kristina. They're the ones that got married last Sept. We had BBQ at
their place in Burlingame. We hadn't seen them in almost a year, so it was nice
to catch up.
On Sun, Gabe golfed and I used my other Groupon for a
massage/mani/pedi. Then we drove up to Marin for a bit and then went for a walk
at Crissy Field. All in all, a fun weekend with friends.
